Nominations for the Election for Trustees

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the term of office of two (2) trustees, Laurance Tamati and Awhi Awhimate, expires on Saturday 2 December 2023.  Awhi Awhimate is re-standing for election and Laurance Tamati is retiring.

Nominations are called for the two (2) trustee positions being vacated and must be made on the Nomination Form available from the

The Nomination Form is to be completed by the Nominee and countersigned by three Adult Registered Members of the Iwi Authority. Nominations will close at 5:00pm on Thursday 19 October 2023.

Candidates are required to provide a brief curriculum vitae detailing their experience relevant to the role of trustee of the Iwi Authority.

For the purposes of this election, the iwi register will be closed at 5:00pm, Thursday 19 October 2023. To be eligible to nominate, be a nominee, or vote in the election you must be registered by Thursday 19 October 2023. Only Adult Members of Ngāti Makino shown on the Ngāti Makino iwi register will be eligible to vote.
